Linda is a certified coach with broad life experience. After an accident at 14 years old, she faced a lot of challenges, and now, she is committed to helping people overcome traumatic experiences and realign their life and find inner joy, strength, and opportunities after misfortune and illness.

PROJECT GOAL
Our goal was to create a visual system that conveys the message Linda wants to send and appeals to her audience. She makes most of the marketing materials on her own, so the system needed to have clear guides, and be easy to use and implement.
This is a project I made when I worked at Mark Notion, a branding agency based in Norway, in collaboration with Bogdan Albu.

BRAND STRATEGY
The personal brand was born because of Linda's wish of helping people. She is bright, friendly, and cares deeply about her clients. As part of the brand strategy, we needed to articulate a cohesive brand DNA: mission, vision, attributes, story, etc...
We wanted to focus on the final result - the happy place, and introduce that concept into the brand look & feel. The visual identity is a progression of brand strategy and emotive expression of the core brand idea: " I help guide my clients past their pain & trauma to get them to a place of recovery and most importantly, happiness & self-love “
LOGO DESIGN
Linda is in a wheelchair now as a result of her accident. Her career and her desire to help people are based on that. We wanted to add this in the logotype, and after some brainstorming sessions & different sketches, we finally found a way to include that element. The wheelchair metaphor is present as a simplified shape that looks like the letter "L".
VISUAL LANGUAGE
For all of the brands we build, we focus on visually explaining what it stands for, what feelings it evokes for its audience, and from there we develop the elements that are functional & easy to use.
With that in mind, the color system was chosen to evoke Linda's brand attributes. As for the typefaces: Fogtwo is a versatile display serif font that we chose for its unique characters to give an elegant touch. Bertioga Sans is used for larger text blocks.
VISUAL ELEMENT
The visual element consists of a pattern created from the logomark shape. Attributed to all three primary colors, the pattern adds quality to the brand, while at the same time stops the communication materials from feeling monotonous. We created it for Linda so she can be able to easily combine the elements when she creates content or any kind of collateral.
APPLICATIONS
For the brand collateral, we designed materials that combine the pattern & images. The photography style is defined by portraits.
The most important aspect was to ensure that all of Linda’s communications visually represent a human-centered calm and safe place.
BRAND GUIDELINES
We delivered effective brand guidelines, so that the brand can be implemented consistently across all the touchpoints. This was one of the main project requirements: comprehensive brand guidelines that can be easily understood. Now Linda can communicate confidently and with full effect, without the daily support of an agency.
WEBSITE DESIGN
We designed a website layout, so that Linda's clients can find useful information about her and her services. The website is implemented with the help of Webflow: a no-code web development platform.
